Are you an equalities* organisation that wants to find out more about delivering public services?

This practical training will help you to connect with the new commissioning environment and improve your organisation's chance of winning government contracts to deliver health and social care services.

Based on NCB's well-received Successful Commissioning training and in response to a recent FaithAction survey of equalities organisations NCB has developed this training to be topical, practical and of relevance to equalities organisations.

Why attend?

If you work have little to no experience of successful commissioning or winning bids then this training is for you.

The training offers:

- A practical understanding of what commissioning is.
- The context and concepts of the health and social care commissioning process.
- Practical advice on how to complete a tender with examples of good and bad
answers.
- Information about the new commissioning environment, including how to
counterbalance any potentially negative impacts brought about by the changes.
- Information about what health commissioners are looking for.
- Information and practical tools to help you become commission ready.

Who should attend?

This training is aimed at children, young people and families equalities organisations and is available at a subsidised cost of £50.

*By 'equalities' we mean organisations who work on one or more of the following areas: religion/belief, race, sex, disability, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, pregnancy and maternity, marriage and civil partnership and age.
